Quantisation of the moduli space of parabolic Higgs bundles towards link invariants.

The cohomology of the moduli space of Higgs bundles has been used to generate topological invariants of mapping tori. In the same sense, the cohomology of the moduli space of parabolic Higgs bundles corresponds to mapping tori equipped with links, and the project will use them to investigate quantum invariants of such links.

Prof. Hausel is one of the foremost experts in the moduli space of Higgs bundles.
